Delhi Government had taken this step of introducing Open Gym in Delhi, to make general public fit and smart. It was like a dream come true for all of us to workout in the fresh air with greenery all around. Through this concept, the public is getting aware of fitness is first and one can have good health only if we do exercise regularly.

The list of fitness equipment available in the open gym and how to use the equipment is also given below:
- Air Walker - Hold the cross beam with both hands and swing your legs backward and forward in a walking motion.
- Situp Board- Hang up the round pipe with feet, crossing the hands behind head, making body backward to the trainer, recovers.
- Air Swing - Stand on the pedals and hold the handles with both hands, swing from left to right.
- Leg Press - Sit on the chair and step on the footboard, stretching legs with force and recover slowly and repeat.
- Elliptical Exercise- Put your feet on the pedals holding the handles with your both hands and moving your hands and feet alternately.
- Shoulder/arm wheel- Stand straight hold the knob rotating wheel with your hands and rotate the wheel in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction.
- Seated Pull chair - sit down with your back against the equipment and take hold of the handgrips with both hands and then pull it down with your full strength.
